## What is ZISTICA MOJIIQ?

ZISTICA MOJIIQ (モジーク) is a Japanese grammar checker and AI writing coach built for serious Japanese learners. It exists as two products that work together:

1. **Chrome extension** — installs in your browser and appears wherever you type Japanese (Gmail, Slack, Notion, Discord, GitHub, Linear, Google Docs, any textarea or contenteditable). It analyses your Japanese in real time and shows corrections in a floating panel with plain-language explanations.
2. **Web app** at mojiiq.zistica.com — includes a free grammar checker (no account needed), JLPT mock exams for all five levels (N5–N1), grammar reference pages, and your learning dashboard.

ZISTICA MOJIIQ was founded by Zistica (zistica.com) and launched in 2025. The product is designed for Japanese learners at any level — beginners (JLPT N5) through advanced (JLPT N1) — who want AI feedback on their Japanese writing without a human tutor.

Every correction is calibrated to the learner's JLPT target level. An N5 student gets simple explanations; an N2 student gets nuanced grammar rule references. The AI explains the specific rule violated (e.g., "の is required to nominalise a verb before a noun — こと is correct here"), not just flags the error.
